Inspired by the first footsteps of humanity - Mama Kea Ntu honours the Khoi and San tribes, the sacred keepers of the land. Handwoven in green and beige, these tones reflect earth, life, and spirit, a grounded tribute to the harmony between nature and self.
“Ntu” means personhood, the essence of being. Each pair is crafted with the ancient Afrocentric crochet technique, now revived by Mama Kea. Designed in collaboration between generations, this shoe embodies both ancestral wisdom and modern comfort.
With its sneaker-soft sole and sustainable soul, Mama Kea Ntu is more than a shoe - it’s a step into the origin of all things.

The shoe is made from nylon and rubber sole. Available sizes are UK/SA size 5-11. Lower sizes are available on request.

1. Shipping & Delivery
We ship nationwide across South Africa and offer international delivery upon request.

Standard orders are processed within 3–7 business days. Custom or made-to-order items may take 7–14 business days.
Delivery times vary by location. Once your order is shipped, you will receive tracking details via email or SMS/WhatsApp.
2. Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of delivery for unworn, unused items in their original packaging.
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or an error was made on our end.

3. Refunds
Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
If your refund is approved, it will be credited back to your original method of payment.
Custom items and sale items are not eligible for refunds unless faulty.
4. Custom Orders
Custom designs require a 50% non-refundable deposit.
Production timelines for custom items range from 7–21 business days, depending on the complexity.
Please ensure all details are confirmed before finalizing your custom order.
5. Payment Options
We accept secure payments via credit/debit card, EFT, SnapScan, and PayFast.
All transactions are encrypted and secure.
